We had a lot of fun yesterday taking pictures. Of course, I wasn't sure I'd make it to their house with the little mini blizzard we were having, but I braved it and I'm so glad I did. These guys were a pleasure to take pictures of and it was nice to meet little Sophie, I had done her mom's maternity pictures earlier in the winter so it was fun to see her on the outside :)

What a nice couple. Great people, great smiles, and clearly undivided and unyielding love :) They just seem absolutely perfect together! The triplets you saw last week & their brother will be the flower girls and ring bearer at their wedding. I cannot wait to see how cute they all look together!

snow love

Ok, its Fargo. Its February. There's snow. And boy, did it decide to come down yesterday during our session! Poor Kelli was wearing open toed "Oprah" shoes so we did have to do some of the pictures inside, I still think they turned out pretty fun (and snowy) anyway!

Julia!

Here are a couple of Julia from the other day. I had taken pictures of her twin sister for NILMDTS a few weeks ago and finally got to take a few of her. What a little model posing so nicely!

peter is 3 too!

Yup, ANOTHER three year old! Here's Peter. I've done pictures with him a couple times before and he was never very interested in doing them ;) But he warmed up instantly this time! Previews of his baby sister to come later this afternoon.

Three Little Ladies

I just got back from a session a little bit ago with the three most darling little ladies. In matching pink dresses I can't wait to get the proofs started so I can put a few up here for you all! Tomorrow is a very busy day with sessions back-to-back all morning, so for those of you who recently had pictures taken or will this week just be forewarned that its most likely going to take me several business days to get them all online.

Teaser: Ethan's First Year coffee table book is almost done! I'll put up some samples of that shortly too!

Out of Town 2/13- 2/17

My son and I are headed to Spanish camp at Concordia Language Village in Bemidji this weekend! Of course, there is WPPI (a photographer's conference) in Vegas this weekend and the Knit Out at the Mall of America. But although I always strive for add'l learning opportunities and anyone who knows me knows my absolute addiction to knitting, I do have my priorities in line and my family comes first ;)

Anyway, we're really excited to go to camp- in fact I was awoke at 6am with a reminder from my sweet 5 year old that we get to go today LOL

So, in a nutshell, if you email me or call between the time I post this and next Tuesday I won't be able to reply right away as this is the last time I'll be online until then and I'm turning off the phone so I can focus on time with my son. Have a fantastic weekend!

For sessions held March 1st through April 10th you get get 2-for-1 prints! Thats right, buy one get one free! This applies for standard weekday sessions only (sorry cannot combine with coupons!) Can be used only for small prints 8x10 and smaller with a limit of 10 free images and the freebie and paid one must be the same image. Thats it! Now you can give your mom and mother-in-law extra copies of the pictures and not have to worry so much about your budget!

newborn Trenton

A friend from church just had this little guy last week and I was so excited to do his first shoot! Of course it came with a small price, I did get to hold him a bit and wrapped him in a small blanket/shawl that I knitted so I could show off my fab knitting skills as well ;)

Here are a couple of little sweethearts. I came to know their mom through NILMDTS when she lost her daughter a little over a year ago. Here are a couple pics of the new babies, adjusted age is probably less than a week as they were born several weeks early, but actually about 5 weeks old I think yesterday when we did the session. The teddy bear in the one picture has an outfit that their sister had wore and the bear itself is made from her blanket (sniff sniff)
