hello world

If you have ever taken a computer programming class, in just about any language, I think the instructor by default is somehow mandated to have you write an application that has the words "Hello World" show up on the screen.  Not really sure why, but seems thats the way it just is.  Well, when I saw this little man's face at the hospital shortly after his birth, all could think of what "Hello World".  It was ready to soak it all up.  Welcome little one.

If you got to this blog from my main webpage, you know that on my landing page there is a picture of a newborn wearing a little crochet hat.  Well, that cupcake grew up into a cutie pie and now is a big sister!  Her sugar plum baby sister (are you sensing a theme here on the sweetness references??) was totally awesome for her first pictures.  And I love to see how big Maddie has gotten even since Christmas when I did her family pictures last time.  These girls have two of the most loving parents I've ever met.  They are all so lucky to have each other!

These itty bitty babies had their session early this year and were so freaking adorable.  They had more hair than any other baby I'd ever seen.  The old wive's tale says a mom get more heartburn if the baby has lots of hair.  Well, this mamma must have been really out of sorts if that were true.  Aren't these two just totally sweet?

Here are a few images from the last two sessions this little guy has had with me.  I have had the pleasure of watching him get bigger every few months and he is simply amazing.  I did his newborn and Christmas pictures done and here's a few of his 6 month and 9 month pictures.  I cannot believe how much he has changed!

I have found that despite my resistance, I have to change my business email to info @ sprayphotography . com instead of the brandi@.  I've gotten completely overwhelmed with 70-100 spam messages a day and at least 50% gets through the filter.  Please make sure to update your contact list!

Oh Dear! Long time no blog!!

It just occurred to me that I haven't blogged at all in 2012.  YIKES!  Its almost June.  So, I'll be the first to admit that I'm a terrible blogger.  I have cut back a bit on sessions this year because of my kids' schedules (we homeschool) but I'm as busy as ever!  You can check out my antics on my other blog (which interestingly, I DO update rather regularly.)

I hope everyone is having a wonderful spring and has a great summer.  I have a busy summer also with seniors, weddings, babies, and families already on the schedule for sessions.  Over the summer I will take a few sessions on Sunday afternoons (my Saturdays are already almost all booked) and probably only doing 2-3 sessions a week, so if you'd like to get in please be sure to call ahead to reserve your appointment well in advance.

And of course, you would like to see some pictures, right?  Here's one of my favorite cuties for ya!

2011 Year End Round Up ~ Fargo Family Photography

So the end of the year is always exceptionally hectic so I apologize that I haven't been updating the blog more, but here's a quick onslaught of images captured at the end of 2011. As I'm putting this up here, I realized looking at them that while the style remains throughout them all, no two images are alike- not generic poses like some people might expect.  That's what I LOVE most about my job, making each of my clients special, and truly capturing their unique personalities and memories.
