Coming to a Christmas card near you... yes, my friend Jill asked me to do pictures of her family again this year and of course keeping with the theme of not having mom and dad's face on the card (the last two years you could only see their feet/legs) she came up with this idea of the kids poking their heads out. Of course this one is an out-take, but seriously, I just couldn't resist putting this one up on the blog :)

Little Callahan is just over a week old. I did his mom and dad's wedding and now had the pleasure of getting to know him! What a sweetie pie :)

NILMDTS from Saturday

On Saturday, after my busy morning of shooting and proofing, I got a call to the peds unit for a NILMDTS session :( Not a typical session as NILMDTS is for infant rememberance, however, this little one hadn't had family portraits taken yet so it was my absolute honor to do them. Its so difficult anytime to do a NILMDTS session, but really to me even more so when its a young child since I have two kids of my own. My heart goes out to this family.

Fun Family Pics Fast

Here's another catch-up post for a session done earlier in the week. I did their family pictures last year too so it was fun to see their little boy getting big! I actually went out twice to get shots since the first batch wasn't up to the standard I strive for but both sessions combined totally about 30 minutes LOL. Talk about fast!

Senior Pics- Ian

Here are a couple from last week- it was COLD outside, but of course being a guy he wanted to keep on shorts LOL. Ian played on the soccer team my husband coached about 10 years ago, so we've known him since he was just a little boy. All grown up.... sigh...

Ok, okay, I get it. I know I'm supposed to update this regularly so I apologize for no updates!

My site is now coverted over and galleries are now password protected. I wanted to wait 48 hours to ensure the site had all forwarded over properly before getting the passwords setup.

If you need access to a gallery just email or call me and I'll hook you up. I have family and senior stuff to update here from the last few days with no entries (sorry again!) I also have a jam packed Saturday with four back to back sessions (YIKES) so I would guess it'll take a little bit to get those updated as well.

Also, don't forget that next Saturday I'm doing pictures with Santa at the Ramada at around 10am-noonish, contact MeritCare for information regarding Breakfast / Pizza with Santa!

Updating Website

Just an FYI that I'm updating my website host today so there may be intermittent issues with your ability to get on the site and/or view proofs. My goal is to have it back online by Tuesday morning at the latest. Good news with this is I'll have more space on my site for hosting your proof galleries, better security, and password protection (all of which are reasons I switched to the in-person proofing- but of course then everyone said they'd prefer the online galleries!)

I'll update here also when the site is fully back online & will be posting more pics :)

Kaiya

This little lady sure is growing fast! I was the doula at her birth and had done newborn pictures so it was quite a treat to get to see her again!

Hayden

As promised, pictures of Hayden! Here he is- all 4lbs 13oz of him at 4 weeks old (adjusted age he'd be 36 weeks gestationally now) he's at home and doing great!

Oh Grant My Wish!

This little guy, Grant, was SUCH a ham throughout the entire session (which made it super fast for a 1-yr old!) he is definately a mama's boy and is certainly not camera shy at all. Watch out ladies- he's quite the flirt!

Chilly Wedding

Even though it was pretty dang cold yesterday we managed to get some great shots of Karl & Kayla both indoors and out. Here's one of the goofy shots (well, I suppose with these guys most were fairly goofy!) and I really am fascinated by the amount of air the groom got on this jump!

Gorgeous Gilmore

I did pictures of Gilmore about a year ago and one of his cutie pics from that session can be seen on my display at Time 2 Play Drop in Daycare (in the strip mall at the intersection of 25th St and 32nd Ave) I love this kid! And boy- can he talk!!

Tongue Baby!

This kid made me work for smiles without his tongue. Of course I TOTALLY dug the whole tongue out thing and he was totally enjoying the session so we kept feeding off of each other LOL Here are just a couple previews.
